The characteristics and uses of molybdenum copper alloy
Molybdenum-copper alloy is a composite material of molybdenum and copper, with high strength, high specific gravity, high temperature resistance, arc ablation resistance, good electrical conductivity and heating performance, and good processing performance. Similar to tungsten copper alloy, it also has adjustable composition, thus having adjustable thermal conductivity and thermal expansion coefficient.
The main uses of molybdenum copper alloy products are as follows:
1. Vacuum contact;
2. Instrument and meter components;
3. Thermal components can meet the performance requirements of high-power integrated circuits and microwave devices;
4. Use low-temperature rockets and high-temperature parts of missiles, and can also replace molybdenum as parts in other weapons, such as extended-range guns;
5. Solid dynamic seals, reinforcing ribs for sliding friction, water-cooled electrode tips for high-temperature furnaces, and electrical machining electrodes, etc.
